Join fellow health professionals, caregivers, educators and students for this 4th annual Unforgettables Foundation conference entitled”Trapped by Addiction: Finding the Way Out.” Outstanding speakers will focus on the devastating effects of drug and alcohol addictions, child abuse and bullying, and PTSD on families and their children.
The presentational method for this activity will be Case Presentation with Learner Participation, Panel Discussion, and Lecture with Q&A. Desired Outcomes
At the end of the activity, participants should be able to:
1. Address pediatric addiction appropriately
2. Recognize how bullying in early life can be a contributor to addiction and addictive behaviors
3. Recognize how exploring addiction through a child’s eyes identifies childhood characteristics buried by the disease of addiction
